Today we have been learning how to honour Mary during the month of May. We decided to make our own rosary beads using pipe cleaners which we then used to help us pray a decade of the rosary. 

On Saturday the 9th of May, Primary 4 received the sacrament of First Holy Communion. I’d like to take this opportunity to say thank you very much to all the boys and girls who were absolutely perfect during both services on the day. You all knew the Mass responses, sang beautifully and behaved excellently. I was so proud of you all. Well done Rooms 9 and 10. Miss Jones

We did a great job on stage last week at our class assembly. Well done everyone! 

This afternoon we made some yummy cakes to eat tomorrow as a treat for all our hard work this term. We made extra to sell with the left over cakes from today’s Daffodil Tea. All the proceeds go to charity.

This morning we cleared out the planter box outside Room 9 and 10. We planted broccoli seeds which should be ready to harvest in a few months. Some of us also used the time to pick up some litter in the yard.

Room 9 are having lots of fun learning how to tell the time.

Room 9 have been busy designing a helmet for the JRSO safety competition. 

Today we learned all about the solar eclipse taking place tomorrow. We can’t wait to wear our special glasses!
