Kilbowie Similies
Can you add a new similie (or metaphor) to the discussion?
Can you improve one of your friend’s posts?
Please leave a comment.
Example: Kilbowie made me as fit as a fiddle……
Mad Hatter’s Limericks
The Mad Hatter is a wonderfully crazy character who often talks in riddles and limericks. We all know what a riddle is but what is a limerick?
A limerick example:
What is a limerick, Mother?
It’s a form of verse, said her brother
In which lines one and two
Rhyme with five when it’s through
And three and four rhyme with each other!
I challange you to come up with your own that could be included in the Mad Hatter’s Script!

*PLEASE COMMENT HERE* End of a Busy Term 1 in P6/7
I can not believe we are almost at the end of Term 1 in Primary 6 and 7. There has been a lot to learn in all of our subjects.
Have your say on the things that you liked best and what you are looking forward to, or hoping to do more of, in the future.
For example I really enjoyed reading our class novel The Dark Isle as that is the type of book I enjoy because it is set in places within Scotland and has lots of interesting characters. I am looking forward to teaching more PE this term on a Tuesday.
Art and Design
In Primary 6/7 this week we are completing our Art project. We practised line drawing on paper, we drew our character on polystyrene tiles using blunt pencils and we will look to use our tile to design a pop art print of the Simpsons family.
Pictures coming soon! 🙂
Meet the Teacher
Tonight I had the opportunity to meet the parents of Primary 6 and 7 pupils of Our Lady and St Francis.
I look forward to working with you all.
