Project-Based Learning

Project-Based Learning (PBL) is an approach where learners gain knowledge, understanding and skills by investigating and responding to authentic, engaging and meaningful real-world questions, problems or challenges. Learning is situated within relevant contexts and involves a purposeful outcome or product, giving children opportunities to apply their learning to a genuine audience or real-life situation. Through this process, learners develop deeper understanding alongside key skills such as creativity, critical thinking, communication, collaboration and problem solving (PBL Works, n.d.)
