My favourite website

My favourite website is the junior journalist blog 😎  because you get to post up your videos and watch other peoples news reports. I also like it because I am a junior journalist and we are making a magazine and doing a competition for the name of the magazine. Mrs Whomes runs the Junior Journlaists after school club on Tuesdays and we get to make all sorts of exciting news reports and edit them.blog

Our Favourite Website

The boys and girls in Room 14 have chosen Sumdog as their favourite website. On this website you can create your own avatar and play lots of cool maths and literacy games. This week our class has been entered into a North Lanarkshire wide competition, where we get to play against children from other schools in our authority. Also, each child who answers 100 questions will receive a new outfit for their avatar.

This is a screenshot playing the Dress Down game on Sumdog. You have to answer questions and if you get them right you get to drag the clothes from the answer onto your own avatar or anyone else’s in the game.

FairTrade Baking :)

I am going to be telling you about when we made FairTrade buns.

  1. we needed to get all the ingredients and set everything out.
  2. now we can weigh all the ingredients until they are all just 120g.
  3. next we added the cocoa powder and the eggs to make the buns chocolate.
  4. then we added the weighed sugar and the weighed flour and mixed the mixture.
  5. next we put the mixture in the cases and put it in the oven.
  6. while it was cooking we tided up and put the remaining ingredients away.
  7. then when they were ready we ate them.

This is the blog page for Primary 6 in Dunrobin Primary school in Airdrie, North Lanarkshire. We hope you like finding out about what we have been doing in school.
