We all really enjoyed showing how much we’ve learnedย about Robert Burns andย the traditions of Burns Nightย in our assembly.
Miss Girvan wasย very proud of how we all performed on the stage!
She says we all sang and spoke so clearly and confidently!
We think that the Primary 1s, 2s + 3s along with all the adults in the room learned a lot about Robert Burns and how we celebrate his birthday every year!
Thank you to all our family members for coming along & for your kind feedback! We were all feeling very proud of ourselves after reading your comments

Our class assembly is this Friday (26th January) at 11:20am.
We hope you will be able to make it along!
If your child has anything tartan which they could wear: a dress, shirt, skirt or kilt would be great!
Or even a little tartan accessory –ย a hairband, tie, sash or scarf!
If not, casual bottoms (leggings, jeans, skirt & tights etc.) with a blue or red top is fine.
Many thanks!

Parents/Guardians,
There has been a couple of changes for our PE days.
Our Outdoor PE session with Mr. Colquhoun will now take place on a Friday afternoon. In addition, our Indoor PE session has returned to a Wednesday morning.
Many thanks,

We all had great fun at our Christmas party!
We enjoyed taking part in some Ceilidh dances and party games before sitting down for a drink and snack.
Miss Girvan thought we all looked lovely in our party clothes!

I think everyone will agree that our winter display in the dining room is super!
We would love to be really stuck inside our Snow Globes with our snowmen during these winter days!

Today we read the story of the Grinch who stole Christmas.
He hated Christmas. We wondered if it was because his heart was two sizes too small…
We decided we would make the Grinch a happier person this Christmas by making him grin!
Here are a few examples of how we would do this by Aiden, Sam & Faythe.
