Primary Five/Four learned that David Livingstone had two important things to help him tell the African people about God – a Bible and a magic lantern. The magic lantern was an old-fashioned slide projector which David used to show pictures from Bible stories.

The children decided that they would like to create their own magic lantern slides of a well known Bible story. Initially they designed their slides on paper. These were then photocopied onto acetate. Each child used their slides to share a Bible story with their peers.
