Primary 7 if you fancy being house captains this year please have your application ready for next Friday 30th October.
Remember to include all the thing we discussed.
Tell us about your skills and qualities.
What experience do you have or what could you bring to this role?
Why should people vote for you?
Use what we learned during our persuasive writing block.
I look forward to hearing these next Friday.
Have a great weekend!

As you know, we are almost at the end of our novel study of Wonder. In previous years we have marked the end of the novel study by sitting as a class to watch the movie.
The movie has a PG certificate. Please check with your adults at home to seek their permission for you to watch the film.
If your adults are happy, please ask them to write a short note advising this and you could show this to one of us in school.
Once we have word from everyone then we’ll make a decision whether the film will be shown. If you could seek permission this week and let us know, one way or the other by Friday 23rd October.

Now that you all have access to both Sumdog and Studyladder, We thought we’d repost websites that may be of use should you feel like you’d like to revisit or revise an area?
Keep in mind that Studyladder has lots of literacy related activities to try out.

Next Friday, the 9th of October we will have the opportunity to have a dress down day at school.
This will be an opportunity to raise funds for the St Andrew’s Hospice. Primary Seven would usually have the chance to take part in a Wear Yellow Walk for this organisation but with the ongoing restrictions it’s been decided that we’ll have a Go Yellow Friday instead.
You can wear something yellow next Friday to school, it could be a hairband, t-shirt, jacket, etc and if possible make a small donation to the hospice that’d be great.
