There’s a new dance which I’ve been seeing a lot recently.  I know you are all good at learning and performing new dances so watch this video tutorial and have a go. Let me know how you find it. maybe you can teach someone else at home and get them to join in with you.

Good morning Primary 7. Our word of the day today is whisk. It was nice to see most of you yesterday on our call.

Remember we are looking for  volunteers to help us lead some prayer services for the younger children during Lent. If you are willing to help with this send me an email please.

This week we will start to look at instructions and the genre features required to write these. Have a go at the task below to get us thinking about the appropriate topical vocabulary we need.

I would now like you to write a recipe. A recipe is a set of instructions which shows us how to make things. We need to list the ingredients and equipment that we need and then provide a step by step guide to what we need to do.

This type of instruction needs to be written in chronological order and you should remember to use headings, subheadings and bulllet points or numbers.

You are now ready to write your own recipe. This could be a family favourite or maybe even one that’s been handed down through your family.
Make sure your recipes are accurate as we will have ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Writers ⭐️⭐️⭐️ tomorrow and I or maybe some of your class mates may decide to try out your recipe.

Choose your challenge or complete them all. I have attached strategies which you should be thinking about as you work out your answers.

We have now come to the end of our money topic so this is your chance to showcase the skills you have learned.

There are no right or wrong answers for this, it’s up to you how you decide to do things just make sure you stay within budget.

The task asks you to work as a team but as we are not in school you can do it individually or feel free to work in groups over a call or FaceTime. Just let me know who is in each group if you decide to do this.

It was lovely to see so many of you at our Ash Wednesday Service yesterday. Now that Lent has begun have a look at the activity below and try to complete some of the challenges in the grid.

The virtual classroom has a great task to show you how to create your own animations.

I will post the screen shots below so you know what you are looking for but if you head over to the STEM room in the classroom the links are all interactive and it will be easier for you to access. The animation task is in the pink  basket at the bottom of the right hand side of the page.
