Spelling and phonics homework will be issued on a Monday followed by maths homework on a Tuesday.  Although there are set tasks assigned for each night feel free to complete them in an order which best suits you and your child.  Although I will check homework each day in class it will not be collected in until Friday.  Every Friday the children will have a spelling test to complete in class.

Here is a quick reminder of our homework tasks;

Monday – Add a minimum of 5 phoneme words to your phoneme bubble.

Tuesday – Write common words three times each AND maths worksheet.

Wednesday – Write one sentence with each of your common words.

Thursday – Rainbow writing with your phoneme words.

Friday – No homework

Children are also asked to read their book at home each night if possible.
