Recently we enjoyed a fantastic and experimental week in Mavisbank. Our pupils enjoyed experiences in relation to the Sciences and in particular “Ups and Downs”. We had lots of fun during the week and the pictures show a variety of contexts and lessons which the pupils enjoyed.

Over recent months we have been in consultation with parents to get your views on our school. We received very positive feedback and would like to share the results with you. We have looked at all comments and suggestions on ways to take the school forward. We have shared this with school staff, nursing staff and therapists. We are also looking to streamline paperwork in order to maximize contact time between pupils and therapists. Further implementations will take place over the coming weeks and months. Please see the attached questionnaire results and we will send out up to date contact information for the therapists as soon as possible.

Here is a quick flavour of our fantastic week all about Expressive Arts. There were lots of live performers, singers and artists who came along to the school to involve and engage all our pupils. They gained a lot from their experiences and enjoyed a wide variety of different aspects.
