The Scottish Book Trust has a Home Activities Hub if you are looking for reading related activities. Scroll down the page to the teen area for creative writing and videos of authors and be inspired!
It is also worth checking out the activities for younger age groups. This how to make a mini book video is under 9 to 11 years but you can be sure I’ll be trying it despite a little bit older…

Looking for reading recommendations? There is a new daily Youtube broadcast that features book recommendations from professional librarians in the UK. Launched by the Youth Libraries Group, National shelf service has short videos to help you to discover new books.
If you are keen to read one of the suggested titles, don’t forget that you can access onine free e-books via your local public library or free audio books via Audible.
