P3/4 Assembly

Primary 3/4 held a fabulous assembly all about the famous ship, Titanic. They told us all about the great tragedy as well as singing brilliant songs. A special mention to our third class passenger dancers who danced their Irish Jig in time the whole way through. The whole audience enjoyed themselves. Well done!

Photographs will follow soon.

Primary 7/6 Assembly

Primary 7/6 held their assembly and told us all about SHANARRI.

SHANARRI is an acronym for the eight wellbeing indicators in the CfE Health and Wellbeing curriculum. It stands for Safe, Healthy, Achieving, Nurtured, Active, Respected, Responsible, Included.

Primary 7/6 explained this very well to their audience and sang some fabulous songs. Well done everyone.

strathclyde park project

Today we had a visitor from Graham Hogg, an architect who is working alongside the council on developing a master plan for Strathclyde Country Park.

As part of this, our children were encouraged to give their ideas and opinions on what could be developed within Strathclyde Park. Some amazing suggestions were made ranging from a swimming pool to an aqua cinema.

All the children enjoyed taking part in this local community initiative and look forward to hearing about some of the changes which may be made.

Farewell Primary 7 June 2019

Our Primary 7 children performed their last ever assembly at Logans to a packed audience. They sang and told us all about their memories over their primary years.

Some children were awarded special trophies for effort and achievements. Well done to them.

Some of our past pupils who play instruments at Braidhurst, entertained us with a fabulous selection of tunes.

Photos and stories made it an emotional afternoon but Mrs Tierney’s fantastic cake put a huge smile on everyone’s face.

Sports Day 2019

Our Sports Day went ahead a day later than planned due to the weather. Sometimes things happen for the best, and we all enjoyed a warm day outside watching children and adults having fun while trying to win races. Thank you to everyone who took part and joined in on our annual event.
