Igloo in Airdrie
The staff and children at Richard Stewart Nursery in Airdrie created an igloo using milk bottles! Lorraine,a member of NLC Early Years Outdoor Network Group, had read about the idea and motivated the children to create their own `Airdrie Igloo`. The process took a long time and many practical problems had to be overcome to create a structure for children to play in, but Lorraine and the children persevered. The igloo lasted well and was used regularly by all age groups.
