Kilsyth Academy – Modern Studies

Modern Studies is the study of the world around us politically, socially and economically. We look at current issues and use them to understand the world around us.  Modern Studies has a strong Literacy focus, includes outcomes in Health and Well Being, Citizenship, Numeracy and Employ-ability. Embedded in the course is the development of skills such as communication, teamwork, research and analysis, decision making and reaching conclusions.
