School Improvement

Attendance Improvements 2025- 2026 and Annual Improvement Priorities 2026-2027

Our annual improvement plan sets out the key areas we will focus on in the year ahead to ensure the highest quality learning experiences for every child. These priorities reflect our ongoing commitment to excellence in teaching, strong curriculum design, and a nurturing, inclusive school community. By working together—staff, pupils, and families—we will continue to build on our strengths and drive meaningful improvement across the school.

Priority 1: Improved attainment and achievement will be secured as learning, teaching and assessment become consistent across all stages. (Including Play & Enquiry across Primary 1 -3) Year 2 of this priority.

Priority 2: By June 2027, staff confidence in high-quality Interdisciplinary planning will increase, supported by clear curricular maps and robust moderation of IDL learning and teaching. All learners will engage in at least two IDL contexts annually, shaped by pupil voice. This will result in more coherent, engaging learning experiences and improved learner motivation and outcomes. Year 2 of this priority.
