Glencairn nursery is a non-denominational, mixed model nursery. We respect and welcome children and parents of all religions, faiths and beliefs. We are a mixed model currently providing childcare from 8am until 6pm. Morning session are from 8.00am – 12.45pm, Term time sessions are from 8.45am – 2.45pm, and afternoon sessions are 1.15pm – 6.00pm.
In our Establishment We Aim to Offer the Highest Quality Service by:
- Following a variety of Early Learning and Childcare resources such as Realising the Ambition, Curriculum for Excellence, wellbeing indicators, GIRFEC and Education Scotland documents.
- Ensuring effective learning through play to enable the delivery of the Curriculum appropriate to the needs of our children.
- Encouraging and motivating children to develop and progress in a safe and happy environment.
- Supporting and encouraging staff in their professional development.
- Working in partnership with parents, children and the wider community.
