Welcome to our school website, this website is intended for all parents/carers of children at or about to enrol as a pupil in Glencairn Primary School or Nursery. It contains information about the school itself and links to a variety of sites with more primary education information. We hope that you find it interesting and informative. We are very proud of our school and we hope that our website will give you an insight into life at Glencairn Primary School and nursery class.

We aim to provide every pupil with the highest possible standard of education by providing an engaging, safe and inclusive learning environment. We recognise that every child is different and through a comprehensive programme of curricular and extra-curricular activities we encourage our pupils to become Successful Learners, Confident Individuals, Effective Contributors and Responsible Citizens.

To fulfil these aims we work in partnership, with parents, pupils and staff, supporting and co-operating with one another. We actively encourage you to take a positive partnership role in the education of your child and we are continually looking for ways to encourage and develop links with our school community.
