P5/6’s Remembrance Film

P5/6 worked with Mrs Hepburn to create a two minute film on what Remembrance means to them and why they think it’s important to mark Remembrance each year. They entered the film into the Schools Competition run annually by Legion Scotland. On Monday, the first round of judging took place and yesterday the school received a phone-call to say that their film has been put online as one of four top entries from across Scotland, which the public can now vote for.

Harvest Assembly by P7B

Pupils of P7B shared their learning about Harvest celebrations around the world, the interdependence of plants and their thoughts on being thankful. Their performance of ‘Get Up and Grow the Seed’ was energetic and enjoyed by parents and pupils. Their seasonal lanterns and Harvest display provided a colourful setting for the first class assembly of the year.
