P1/2 Scottish Myths and Legends Assembly

I  would like to say a big thank you to all the adults who came to watch us share our learning last week. because of the snow days we only had 3 days to practice the assembly but the children were all superstars! If you didn’t manage to come along then here are some pictures of our morning and some of our favourite parts about the assembly and our bowling in PE this week.

A big well done boys and girls, I am so proud of all your hard work and learning! Miss Langridge x

Reece – I was happy because I liked reading my words at the class assembly.

Ellie – I liked learning about Scottish Myths and Legends. my favourite one was Nessie.

Matthew – I loved learning lots of interesting facts about Scottish myths and legend and my favourite one was the Ghillie dhu.

Maxwel –  I liked when we played bowling because I had one skittle left to knock down.

Josh – I liked bowling because I got a strike.

Max – I liked saying my words in front of my mum.

Charlotte – I liked the Ghillie Dhu because it’s nice to children but not nice to adults.

Summer – I liked the Kelpie because we made the Kelpie art work and for the p1/2 assembly we got to share the picture that we made in class.

Kade – I got a strike then I missed a few then I knocked some of them down.

Ruth – I liked our topic because I like the interesting facts and my favorite was the Selkie because it could take off it’s skin and that was quite was interesting and my least favourite was the Ghillie dhu because it crushed adults and took them to Fairyland.

Rory – I liked showing my adults how to play stop the clocks to show my learning with telling the time.

Andrew – I liked eating my shortbread.

Lewis – I liked teaching my gran and my mum how to play crocodile chomp. To show them how we add and subtract chimney sums.
