S3 Geography

 In S3, pupils will continue to develop their Geographical Skills at the start of the year by completing a variety of fieldwork techniques and enhancing their map and numerical skills including the completion of a Geographical study. 

Following from this pupils will learn about  Environmental Hazards by studying volcano, earthquake and hurricane case studies and will have the opportunity to visit Dynamic Earth in Edinburgh as a school trip. 

The final topic covered in S3 as part of the BGE is Population within which pupils learn about the spread of people across the globe and how that affects birth and death rates.
