Breakfast Club

Clarkston Primary operates a Breakfast Club from 8.15am every day. It is supervised in the school hall by a member of support staff.  The breakfast consists of fruit juice, toast and cereal. This is free to all P1-3 pupils and for P4-7 pupils in receipt of free school meals. For all other pupils the cost is £1 per day with a sliding scale for families of 2 at £1.50 and families of 3 at £1.80 per day. Children should access the breakfast club through the main entrance door no earlier than 8.15am.

Cost of a school meal

In response to the COVID 19 outbreak we have made changes to our payment methods.  This includes taking cash out of the process which will help reduce the spread of the virus. (Localised solutions will be in place for anyone who is unable to sign up for online payments.)

The price of a two course meal is £3.10 and consists of a main course plus soup, sweet treat fruit or yoghurt as indicated on the menu and the option of plain milk or chilled water. With each meal children also have a choice of two seasonal vegetables and/or salad with their lunch.

A free school meal entitlement is up to the value of the school meal price of £3.10 This includes all pupils from P1-P3.

Nursery will either provide a hot lunch or a cold packed lunch for morning and afternoon sessions as part of their free entitlement. All meals are served with water or semi-skimmed milk plus fruit, yogurt or home baking which varies daily.

If your child is diagnosed with a food allergy or intolerance or requires a special textured diet please inform us as soon as possible.
