I am a History and Modern Studies Teacher and have worked at Coltness High School since 2017.

I am very passionate about the subjects that I teach and enjoy helping pupils learn about the past, as well as deepening their understanding of the political and social complexities of the present.

I enjoy working at Coltness High School as I am proud to be from Lanarkshire and want the area and people to thrive.

Outside of work, I train at judo, enjoy running, and love spending time with my children.

My favourite holiday destination is Oregon, USA. I worked there when I was a student. My most interesting experience in Oregon was visiting Timberline Lodge, the exterior of which was used for Stanley Kubrick’s film, The Shining.
