There has been lots of fun, interactive learning in Modern Languages, as well as some departments throughout the school, to celebrate European Day of Languages. To name just a few, we’ve had Treasure Hunts, learning of BSL, a delightful bake sale and flag face-painting. The Art department have been researching Monet, and created some drawings, while also using French words to describe how they feel about him. In Geography, pupils researched Barcelona; whilst the PE department enabled pupils to work in teams to use their bodies to create some French and Spanish words. Well done to all pupils and staff involved!
