World War 2 Learning
Unfortunately we have come to the end of our World War 2 topic. How would you rate this topic from 1 to 10 with 10 being the best? Give me a reason for you answer and then, in your own words, tell me about two things that you learnt.
Caldervale Induction Day
Primary 7 had a great time at Caldervale meeting children from other primary schools and working together to complete the challenge. Well done to everyone who took part!
Dolphin Tale
We had a fantastic time at the cinema yesterday. Thank you to the PTA and everyone else who made it possible for the whole school to go! Here is the wesite address where you can find more information about the dolphins featured in the film and the aquarium they live in.

Treat Time
Last month we went to the park for our treat time and had an amazing time! What would you like to do for the next treat?
Gas Masks
Focus on Food
Primary 7a had a fantastic time making potato scone using a recipe from World War 2. We found out that potato scones have changed shape since then! Many of us also enjoyed doing our own WW2 themed cooking or baking at home.
The Blitz
Enjoying the Sun
We worked well together to come up with an important set of class rules. If we keep these we will get to enjoy a fortnightly reward.
Welcome to P7a’s Blog
This year P7a are working with Miss Woodley. So far this year we have been very busy developing our Maths and Literacy skills as well as working on all other areas of the curriculum. We are particularly enjoying studying World War 2 and have learnt lots already. Here is a picture of our class at the beginning of term. We will do our best to keep our blog up to date.
