In Primary 7 we have regular spelling, maths and reflective homework.

The spelling is based on a four weekly cycle and includes selecting strategies, writing definitions of words and using words in meaningful and interesting sentences or paragraphs.

We will also get one piece of maths homework a week which will cover a variety of topics.

In school we set personal weekly targets most Mondays. Towards the end of the week we then reflect on our learning and assess how well we think we have achieved our targets. Through discussion with Miss Woodley we decide upon our next steps and continue with this process.

From time to time we will be given interdisciplinary homework with an element of choice. This will be linked to work done in class but will leave room for children to develop their own interests.

We have already shown how independent and creative we can be through our Commonwealth Games homework.
