We took part in Clyde’s Challenge where we had to complete 5 sporting tasks with 10 mins at each one. We were skipping, throwing into a hoop, passing a ball, using a rugby ball to clap and catch and sprinting. We measured our results and compared them to the scores Clyde achieved.

We have been testing drinks for levels of sugar.  We tested coke, diet coke, irn bru and orange juice. We enjoyed using the glucose strips to record the changes. We found that coke and irn bru had the most sugar.

We have loved our animation topic. We wrote scripts using speech marks, created scene backdrops and made our model characters. We enjoyed photographing the scenes and then creating our films on I-movie. We even added sound!

We have been working with Miss MacQuarrie on our new topic. We have been learning about the formation of mountains and we have created mirror image pictures using paint.

We learned about the digestive system and took Clyde the Commonwealth games mascot with us.

Happy new year and welcome back. A busy term ahead of us with lots of hard work and we will be starting auditions for the Easter show shortly. Remember our P.E days are Thursday and Friday. Also a reminder that the next home reading task is due on Friday 31st January.

We played pass the parcel and other party games. Sammy & Taylor won prises and we enjoyed our snacks and dancing to the party anthems.
