World of Work!

Children have to develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes to make them attractive to employers in a competitive world. Therefore it is important that they begin to consider the World of Work.

Please choose one of the activities below to complete by Friday 14/11/14. You have free choice in how you would like to present your findings. (Poster, Powerpoint, Table, Newpaper Article.)

  • Make a list of qualities and skills that an employer would want from an employee.  HWB1 – 20a
  • Look at various sources/places/ways where you can find jobs. Present your findings. (Think about traditional ways, modern ways) HWB1 – 20a

Have fun researching!!

Robot Challenge!!

Well Done to everyone who completed the robot challenge. We had some very creative and exciting examples on display and the children really seemed to enjoy this project. I think some adults may have enjoyed it also. Thank you for the effort and time you spent on designing and creating our Robots.
