Roman Projects!!

Some fantastic Roman projects were created by the talented pupils (& parents) of P5/4. The pupils produced some great artefacts and enjoyed telling the class all about the process of making them. Well Done to you all!!

Easter Service

A huge well done to all our Primary 5 pupils who performed superbly at our Easter Service. Each and every one of them rose to the occasion of spreading the “Good News” I think we have definitely have some future stars on our hands. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!! Here are a selection of some photos from the service.

P5/4 Cooking up a Storm!!

Primary 5/4 had a busy afternoon making Sardine Pate! Many children did not like the appearence of the Sardines or indeed the smell of the garlic puree that was addded to the mixture, although they all had a super time making it. Mums and Dads might be getting a special treat tonight as not too many children were keen to taste their Pate!!

P5/4 Cooking Class

P5/4 children had an exciting afternoon making Tuna Wraps. They had great fun practising their ‘Bridge Hold’ and ‘Crawl Grip’ knife skills. We hope you enjoy the wraps they made. Some children even said they would be giving it to mum as an early Mother’s Day present!!  The olives were sampled by some but I’m unfraid to say that most ended up in the bin!! Next recipe will be Sardine Pate on the 27/3/15!!

Romans at Callendar House

Primary 5/4 had a super day at Callendar House in Falkirk learning about the Romans. We dressed up as Roman Soliders, went on a march and had to defend ourselves from an attack by the adults. Luckily we had our shields and helmets to protect us.

We learned lots of interesting information about the Romans and this trip has really heightened our interest in our new class topic. We will be learning lots more about Romans in the coming weeks and will have an interesting project to complete on this soon.
