On Thursday 15th September we enjoyed an ‘Authors Live’ event with The Scottish Book Trust online to help celebrate 100 years of Roald Dahl.   We tuned in with P5 and lots of other primary schools around Scotland to watch Matthew Fitt being interviewed. Matthew Fitt has adapted Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and translated it into Scots . We really enjoyed listening to new Scottish words and to Matthew reading part of his book. We ended up having a great discussion afterwards about our favourite Scottish Words.
