WOW! I am so impressed with the homework you have all presented so far!
We have had fabulous stories, information about Christmas in other countries and some wonderful Winter Wonderland scenes!
Our class looks great with all of the different decorations you have made for the class and we have ALL enjoyed the delicious food people have made – we had cakes, gingerbread houses, peppermint chocolates and even mince pies!
You should all be very proud of yourselves and a thank you to anyone who helped along the way!
I look forward to Wednesday 21st when we see you last piece of homework!

Mrs Raeburn was very kind and organised a space for us to replant our daffodil bulbs at the allotment. We went this afternoon and also had a look around for some inspiration for activities we could try ourselves.
We found a worm which we would love as our class pet – Miss Lindsay wasn’t so excited about this idea!
Thank you to Ava for being the class photographer today.

Unfortunately, someone has destroyed out Daffodil plant area. Stephen discovered the area had been dug up and our plant pots had been turned upside down.
We managed to save all of our plant pots and bulbs. Mrs Raeburn has kindly found a space for us to plant our bulbs and leave our plant pots at the allotment. Hopefully they won’t get damaged here!
We have decided as a class to postpone our John Muir Award activities until after the Christmas break. We will look for ways to avoid our projects being vandalised again.

We will be completing our John Muir Award this year. We have learned who John Muir was and why we are trying to achieve this award. Together we have planned many activities which will keep us very busy and help the environment too.
The first of our activities is to participate in the ‘Edina Trust Bulb Project’ – this is an experiment carried our throughout the UK. We planted our own daffodil bulb in a small plant pot, and then planted 20 bulbs in the ground with 5 unknown bulbs. We will continue to watch as our bulbs grow.
