Today we went over to our school allotment. We met Mrs Raeburn who is helping all the classes to plant and grow fruits, vegetables and also some flowers. We had a look at all the other allotments, watered the plants and also planted strawberries into Mr Raeburn’s old wellie boots, great up cycling! We checked out the progress of the tomato plants that Primary 2 planted last week. They have grown so quickly. It was a beautiful day and we could have stayed much longer. Thank you to everyone at the allotments who made our visit such fun. Have a look at some of our pictures below. There are more on another iPad which we will post later.
I can’t believe how much has been done already this year. Hopefully the sunshine will help our plants grow now! I’d also like to say a big thanks to our parent volunteers, without you we couldn’t do it!
