For our IDL homework we have been making our own Christmas baubles. Mrs Waugh says they are so good and there are so many she will have to get a bigger tree!!!

We have really enjoyed decorating our class with Christmas artwork. We made moving santas, reindeer, hand print wreaths, paper chain snowmen & salt dough candle holders!

We had a great time at Zumba this week.

Here is the new IDL homework grid.  The children will get a copy next week and as before will choose a task to complete on the Thursday night and will hand this in on the following Monday.

We have all been working really hard in the last term to make our class an exciting and fun place to learn. What do you think?

We made a pasta salad today as part of our cooking week. We learned about preparing for cooking by washing our hands properly and setting out all our equipment and ingredients.  We learned how to hold a knife and chop safely. We all took turns to add the pasta, ham, basil, mozerella and tomatoes. We even made a vinegar dressing to finish our salad off. We have made some to take home for our families to try.

We are all in training for work on the farm. It’s a difficult job & we have been trying to improve our fitness by recording our scores each week.

I have been really impressed with the topic homework so far and we are only on week 1! Many of the children have visited farms, made word searches, produced beautiful drawings & made fantastic model farms! Well done everybody. Mrs Waugh
