We are doing gymnastics this term and the children are learning to balance, roll, jump and land carefully and work from different levels. Here are pictures of some children working on benches and the small box. They had great fun.
Primary 2/1 made chocolate Easter nests and then went on to write instructions on how to make them. Learning can be tasty!
Primary 2/1 were taking part in a fluency task today. The children worked in partners to hear each others reading and practice reading with increased fluency.
P.2/1 have been finding out more about money and coins. This links well to our People in Society theme and with our Magic Reindeer Dust enterprise. We have been playing in the shop, making money men and ordering the coins. Next we will be adding up totals, finding change and working out the correct coins we need for an amount. Learning is fun!
