We took the opportunity today to do some maths challenges in the sun. We are learning the 2x table and we had a chalkboard challenge in groups. Everyone had their brains switched on and put correct answers on the chalkboard animals in the playground. Alfie said, “That was really good fun working on our numbers outside.”  Chloe said, “It’s different doing our work out in the sunshine.” Everyone had a great time – and, even though we were enjoying the sunshine, we were still working well.
