Primary 2b paid a visit to the allotment today to help plant marigolds that we have grown from seed in class. They were planted in the box where the pumpkins will also be going. The marigolds will encourage the bees to come and pollinate the flowers, helping our vegetables to grow. It was a sunny but windy day and everybody had a great time as you can see in the photos. Our photography today is courtesy of Christy who had the class iPad. We hope to be back at the allotment before the end of the school session to check on the progress of all our flowers and vegetables.
