All children in Primary 1 took part in a sponsored Teddy Bear Day in aid of St Andrew’s Hospice. Primary 1b raised £293.00 for this special charity. Thank you very much to all who sponsored the children.
The class had a very busy and fun filled day. We made Teddy Bear Hats, created Teddy Bear Picnic invites for our friends, wrote stories about our soft toys, made teddy bear puppets and even got a chance to wear our aprons to make Teddy Bear Biscuits. Everyone finished off the day with a Teddy Bear Picnic, where we ate our picnic food and joined in with teddy bear songs and rhymes.
I am delighted that you all had a fantastic Teddy Bear Day and I am very impressed with the money you have raised for St Andrews Hospice. Well done! You looked fabulous in your hats and I know you loved you teddy bear biscuits:) Big thanks again to all who donated.
