The class are learning about the lifecycle of a butterfly through their ‘ Spring’ themed mini-topic. As part of this topic they have been learning about symmetry. Today the children created symmetrical butterflies using paint. It was very messy but lots of fun. Tomorrow, the class will write instructions about how they created their butterflies. Writing is really improving within the class and all children are becoming much more independent.
Primary 1 why don’t you come and visit primary 5 and see our caterpillars! We are waiting for them to cocoon. We also have some ladybird larvae that you can see too. It would be lovely to see you all!
