Rotation 1 – Human Rights

Students learn about human and children’s rights and apply this to a real life issue. We learn about Syria and the situation there. Between the civil war and ISIS, many people are not having their rights respected and students have an opportunity to find ways to help Syrian refugees who have left Syria.

Rotation 2 – Mini Assignment

The right to bear arms in the USA – This unit focuses on the issues of guns in the USA and students carry out a mini version of an assignment where they look at the pros and cons of gun rights in the USA.  It allows them to engage with the political views of leaders such as Trump and Obama but also enables them to arrive at an informed opinion on this issue.
