Addition Fun
We have been working hard learning all about addition and are using our skills to play some fun games.
Caveman Play
The children have moved onto our new caveman topic and we’re very cited this week to start our new play activities. The children made their own tools, built caves out of sand and other construction materials and took part in some research. We will continue these play activities over the next few weeks and will keep you updated with our learning.
Addition Fun
We are now learning to add during our maths lessons and are having lots of fun transferring our skills to different games and activities.
Planting
Today we planted some daffodils bulbs for Marie Curie. We are going to learn how to care for our bulbs and hopefully they will flower in time for our daffodils tea.

Making Bread
After listening to The Little Red Hen story in class over the last few weeks the children had the opportunity to make some bread. The children made their bread, baked it and even got to try a piece. The children also used their knowledge to write some simple instructions on how to make bread.
New Topic
The children put their heads together to help plan our new topic on Cavemen which will be starting over the next few weeks. The children shared what they already knew and then discussed what they would like to learn. The children then presented their group suggestions to the rest of the class. There was some very interesting suggestions and hopefully we will be able to cover them in the time available.
Halloween Disco
The children all looked great at the Halloween Disco on Tuesday night and had lots of fun dancing and playing games. A big thank you to all the parents who organised the event for us.
