Chicks Day 11
It’s almost time to say goodbye to our chicks as they will be collected to be taken to a local farm tomorrow. We have had lots of fun taking care of the chicks and watching them grow and we are all sad to see them go. Hopefully they will come back to visit us soon.
Chicks Day 10
Today we had to clean out the brooder box just like Miss McDonald showed us. We also wrote some fantastic chick descriptions which will be posted here soon.
Preparing for Chick Assembly
Here are some songs and poems we have been learning to share at our assembly.
Day 9 Chicks
Today we continued to care for our ten beautiful chicks. We cleaned out the brooder box to give them a clean home and we made sure that they had plenty of food and water. We also had another chance to hold them and we were surprised to see how calm they are in our hands now. We then had a busy afternoon creating our own model chicks using balloons.
Chicks Day 8
Miss McDonald brought he chicks back today and we couldn’t believe the difference in them. They are getting really big and growing their adult feathers. Today was very exciting because we got to hold the chicks for the first time. Here are some pictures of us.
