Smooth newt

You can find newts around the uk we usually find them under rock and around the play ground.

The lifecycle of a newt is the adult newts lay their eggs and stay in the water. And then the juveniles stay and the adults go then they go and then it repeats.

Fun facts 

Once they leave the water they are known as efts.

They are 10cm.

They eat invertebrates.

They are found in Scotland.
