P5 Rainforest Dioramas

Here are some of the excellent dioramas that P5 made for their homework task. They have really enjoyed learning about rainforests and talked confidently about their dioramas to their cooperative learning group. Some have moving parts and one even has sound so that you feel like you are in a rainforest! Next stop in our changing planet is the polar regions, bbrrrr!

Mrs Coyle’s Retirement Celebration

On behalf of everyone at Aitkenhead Primary School, we would like to wish Mrs Coyle a long and happy retirement. Mrs Coyle has been Head Teacher at Aitkenhead Primary School since January 2001 and we are all going to miss her. We celebrated her retirement by having an assembly and a fun afternoon on Friday.
