This year we have an intake of 30 new P1s which has resulted in the need for us to create composite classes throughout the school, with the exception of P1. Primary 7 and Mrs White decided to do things a bit differently this year and had their own special assembly which we were all invited along to see. It was lovely to hear about what their dreams are for thirty years from now, and they entertained us with two special songs. They also presented some of the staff with awards!
Primary 3 thoroughly enjoyed making fruit kebabs yesterday as part of their Health and Well-Being. They used the bridge technique to cut the banana and strawberries. We have been learning about the different foods that you need to eat as part of a healthy diet, including not five but seven pieces of fruit and vegetables every day!
