World Book Day in Primary 3
Primary 3 had a fantastic day celebrating world book day yesterday. We enjoyed dressing as our favourite book characters and sharing stories with our friends. We played a game where we had to guess the book character on our heads by asking good questions. We wrote silly stories by playing a game of consequences, it was very funny reading back the final stories. Then we all created a monster on the Teach Your Monster to Read App (which is free to download this week) which helped practise our phonics and spelling skills. We also enjoyed reading our class novel ‘The Owl Who was Afraid of the Dark’ and creating some art work about the story. More on that to follow.
