Outdoor Learning in P3
Over the last two weeks, primary 3 have enjoyed lots of opportunities to learn maths outdoors. Children enjoyed finding repeated patterns around our playground and on our school building. They made repeated patterns using materials from outside, such as leaves, sticks and acorns. Children created questions to ask each other and played a game hiding an object from the pattern and guessing what was missing. It was great fun, even if it was a little windy and we had to chase some leaves around the playground.
