P6 Clyde in the Classroom
The whole class enjoyed looking after the brown trout before releasing them into the Clyde river. Everyone took on many responsibilities such as feeding the fish, checking the temperature and even removing the dead eggs from the tank (luckily, there weren’t that many). We were pleasantly surprised when they hatched earlier than expected and were excited to see how they changed from week to week. Our instructor Dave was also very impressed with the progress.
Sadly we had to say goodbye and release them into the Clyde. We had a great afternoon and enjoyed watching the fish swim up the river. Although, some people would have preferred to take them home as new pets.
Well done Primary 6! You did a fantastic job and should be very proud of your achievements.
