Rookie Rockstars to Visit Aitkenhead!
Rookie Rockstars will be bringing their exciting programme to the school on Monday 6th March 2017.
Rookie Rockstars is an initiative that was created to give children the opportunity to work with professional musicians to learn original songs, record a CD and perform in a fantastic concert.
The programme covers key areas of the Curriculum for Excellence: Health and Wellbeing, Expressive Arts, Moral Education, Literacy, Technologies and more.
Children participate in a unique learning experience which tackles anti-bullying, and aims to promote confidence, self-esteem, and positive friendships.
All pupils will be involved in the programme during this week and will be working towards concert performances on:
Wednesday 15th and Thursday 16th of March at 6.30pm in the school hall.
Tickets priced £5 are now on sale, maximum of 2 per family on a first come first served basis.
Please note these performances will replace the newstimes planned for the 3rd and 10th of March.
