Here are some photos to show our learning from August and September.

Congratulations to our September Award winners. Well done to everyone in the nursery for trying hard.

Childsmile will be visiting the nursery on Wednesday 26th October.

Congratulations to our August Award winners.

The Kind Heart is given to children who are good friends, the Super Star Tidier is given to children who Choose, Play, Put Away and the Shiny Diamond is given to children who follow the nursery rules.

The morning children had the opportunity to meet our new student, Mrs Easton, who visited the nursery on Friday. Her placement will begin on Monday 12th September and finish on Thursday 22nd September.

There will be an Orthoptist visit in the nursery on Friday 16th September for all pre-school children. Please read the information leaflet posted in the nursery cloakroom and notify staff using the ‘opt out’ slip if you do not wish your child to participate.

We went on a nursery trip to Deep Sea World.

We helped to raise money for Strathcarron Hospice at the Go Yellow Day.

The children had lots of fun and learn lots of new things when learning about Under the Sea.

In March and April we learned about animals. We found out a little bit about Monkeys while learning about Chinese New Year and the Year of the Monkey. We were able to dress up as farm animals and jungle animals. There were lots of lovely animal stories for us to read. We also played with animal figures with the farm set and Noah’s Ark set. Here are some pictures showing some of the animal activities we took part in and some of our other learning across the six week block.
