In January and the start of February we were learning about Polar Bears and Symmetry. Here are some photos showing some of the activities in which we took part.

Congratulations to our January Award winners. Well done to all of the nursery boys and girls for trying really hard.

To show our appreciation for all of Mrs Paul’s hard work over the past two and a half years the children in nursery, P1 and P2 made a card and presented it to her at the end of term. Mrs Paul is settling in to her new post at Holy Cross Nursery and hopes to be able to pop back and visit us soon.

We were busy in November and December learning about the Post Office and rehearsing for our Christmas Show. Here are some photos showing some of the things we took part in while learning.

At our final count the nursery raised £130 for the sale of our decorations and calendars.

The children have decided to send £60 to Soldiers Off the Street Scotland, £36 to WWF to adopt a Polar Bear and £34 to help the dogs and cats at the Scottish SPCA. A discussion showing the children’s suggestions for places to send the money is on the cloakroom wall.

We walked to the Post Box today to post the letters we made for ourselves (to learn about the Post Office). We are excited for them to arrive through our own letterboxes!!!!
