Good morning boys and girls,

I hope you enjoyed the Easter break with your family, I have been informed that lots of Easter Eggs were eaten in Townhead over the last few weeks 🙂

Unfortunately our school is still closed and we are all working from home! It is really important that you continue with your learning over the coming term.

Your teacher will upload tasks to Glow and you can access them using either a laptop, iPad, X Box and Play Station. If you do not have a device please email me at: enquirytps@glow.sch.uk

You will continue to make good progress by using Microsoft Teams, Studyladder and Sumdog, your teachers will be available on a daily basis to support you, provide feedback and generally be there for you to chat to, you know how friendly our schoool staff are. Also, every class will work on a new topic based on a country, please look at the clues online and you can try to guess your country!

It is very important that you do some reading and writing every day. You can read a book, magazine or a newspaper, if you have a younger brother or sister, it would be amazing is you read to them on a daily basis, they will love that! When it comes to writing, you could write your own little book, a daily diary, a newspaper report or do your own research project on a subject you are interested in.

From Tuesday you can collect a jotter and a pencil (if you need them) from D. & A. Mini-Market in Townhead, your parents will make sure you do this in a safe way.

We will be organising exciting online events and activities were we can ‘virtually meet up’ as a school! Please keep an eye on Twitter for the announcements.

I am missing you all very much and cannot wait to see you soon.

Please keep safe!

Love Mrs Ferguson
